Tours · How to book
From the form to the first kilometre
Booking runs by form and email. You tell us dates, numbers and how active the group is; we reply with questions or a written quote that names the route, the rooms, the kilometres and every fee.
The steps
- 01
Send the form
Dates or a month, how many are travelling, which trip or what kind of route. Add riders' heights in the optional section if you already know them.
- 02
We reply by email
With questions if something is open, or with a written quote: route, km per day, start times, rooms by name, fees and price per person.
- 03
Adjust
Change the dates, swap a homestay for a hotel, drop a climb, join two trips. Each version is priced again in full.
- 04
Confirm in writing
When the quote suits you, you confirm by email. Payment terms are on the written quote.
- 05
Final details
About two weeks before travel we send the confirmed day plan, the pick-up time and the kit list for your month.
What we need from you
- Dates, or a month and how flexible it is. In the flood season a shift of a few days can mean a weekday at Tra Su instead of a crowded Saturday.
- Numbers: how many riding, how many in the vehicle.
- Heights of each rider, for bike sizing.
- Recent riding or walking: a sentence each is enough. 'Rides 30 km at weekends' tells us more than 'fit'.
- Anything that limits the day: knees on descents, heat sensitivity, diet, a fear of narrow bridges.
If you are unsure which grade suits you, read grading and fitness first; it has a short self-check.
How we check a route before you travel
Each quote is checked against three calendars before we send it. The tide and flood calendar: high tides flood riverside streets in Can Tho and Vinh Long in October and November, and the 2025 authorities advised limiting travel at high tide in the early morning and late afternoon. The lunar calendar: the Sam Mountain festival runs from the 23rd to the 27th day of the 4th lunar month. And the park calendar: opening hours and ticket prices at Tra Su, Tram Chim, U Minh Ha and the cape, which we re-read for your dates.

Changes, weather and safety calls
The guide may change the order of a day, shorten a ride, or move a climb for weather or water. That is part of the trip, not a failure of it. If a whole activity cannot run, for example the Cam Mountain climb in a storm, we replace it with the nearest equivalent the same day (the cable car up and a walk on the summit area) and tell you what changed in cost, if anything.
If you need to change dates after confirming, tell us as early as you can. What can be moved without cost depends on the rooms and boats already held; the written quote says which items are refundable and which are not.
Payment safety
Payment details are given only on your written quote. If a message asks you to pay to an account not shown there, do not pay; send the form and ask us.
What the form collects and how it is used is in the privacy policy.
Common questions
Questions travellers ask most
How far ahead should we book?
For flood-season trips in September to November, as early as you can, because weekday boats and good rooms near Tra Su and Tram Chim fill. For the other months a few weeks is usually enough.
Can you hold a date without payment?
We can ask rooms and boats to hold, but we cannot guarantee a hold until you confirm in writing.
Do we need to sign anything about cycling risks?
We ask each rider to confirm in writing that they have read the grade and the day plan and hold insurance that covers cycling.
Can we book only part of a trip?
Yes, for example only the Cam Mountain climb from Chau Doc. Ask in the form.
